Persons in difficulty always have the sweetest words;
They have tongues heavy with promises,
And sweet whispers of good times.
But when they are rescued, and freed,
They conveniently forget the good others have done for them,
Even while basking in the glory of freedom they just received.
But rest assured, that there will come a time again,
When other troubles will befall you,
And then you will have no one to assist you,
Because they have all heard your honeyed whispers.
Be careful to show gratitude,
For the times not yet passed,
When you will need the help again.
Because you will!
