Great ideas of recent origin: Global Positioning System(GPS)

Global Positioning System(GPS)

The Global Positioning System (GPS) is the method of identifying the location of an object or person based on the signals received from satellites. GPS system picks up the signals from satellite and defines the location from the signals. The system was developed by US government in 1993. Great ideas of recent origin: Optical Camouflage

Optical Camouflage

The optical camouflage aims making persons or objects invisible. Susumi Tachi, a Japanese professor,  is the key person behind such researches.
